I’m Nettie, a licensed RN, clinical nurse educator, and U.S. Air Force veteran with decades of experience across diverse healthcare, academic, and community settings. I’ve worked in hospitals and in the pharmaceutical industry, and what I kept seeing was this: people are hungry for better recovery, better sleep, less pain, and calmer nervous systems—but they’re overwhelmed by hype and don’t know who to trust.

Spiritually and mentally, I reached a point where the pharmaceutical world no longer felt aligned with my values. I chose to step away and focus my energy on what I’ve always loved most: educating, advocating, and helping people make grounded, informed choices for their health.

Several of the people closest to me, including myself, are neurodivergent. That means I care deeply about environments that are calming, accessible, and sustainable—not overwhelming or overstimulating. Lighthouse Wellness Lab grew out of that same heartbeat.
